You’ve chosen your tea — but have you ever known what’s actually inside your cup?
From the quality and origins of each ingredient to the way you brew and enjoy them, there’s more behind every cup than you might think.
Let’s take a closer look.
Why We Keep Our Herbs Whole?
For us, a good cup of herbal tea starts with two simple things: whole ingredients and ingredients you can see. That’s why we choose to keep our herbs, flowers, fruits and roots as close to their original form as possible, rather than crushing them into small, unrecognizable pieces.
Keeping ingredients whole allows you to appreciate them as they are — their natural shape, colour, aroma and texture. As hot water is poured over them, leaves and flowers slowly unfold, fruits soften and the ingredients gradually release their flavour and aroma into the water. It turns brewing into something you can see, smell and experience, rather than simply dipping a crushed tea bag into a cup.
For this reason, we also want you to know exactly what you’re drinking. From our transparent tea bags to our clear packaging, visibility is an intentional part of Herb Spirit. You can look closely, recognise individual ingredients and know what is going into your cup. Learning about the plants we drink, where they come from, and the place each herb has held in food and herbal traditions can help us build a more thoughtful relationship with what we choose every day.
That curiosity about plants — and a desire to bring them back into everyday life in a simple, visible and natural way — is at the heart of Herb Spirit.
Where the Herbs Come From?
Every herb has a place where it grows best. At Herb Spirit, we carefully select ingredients from regions known for their distinctive growing conditions and long traditions of cultivating them.
We carefully select high-quality herbs from their renowned growing regions, then gently dry them to preserve as much of their natural aroma, colour and form as possible. Following traditional herbal formulas, the ingredients are thoughtfully blended and packed into tea bags — with nothing unnecessary added.
Hot or Iced?
Every Herb Spirit blend can be enjoyed either hot or iced — simply choose the way that suits you best.
Simply brew it as usual to make a hot tea. A little honey can be added if you prefer a touch of sweetness.
Prefer it cold? Let your tea cool naturally, then pour it over ice for a refreshing iced infusion.
Can I Steep It Again?
Yes. The same tea bag or flower can be brewed at least 2–3 times as they often continue to release flavour and aroma when being steeped. Simply add more hot water and steep again while the ingredients still have a pleasant taste and aroma.
There’s no need to throw them away after just one cup — take your time and enjoy how the flavour gently changes with each infusion.
How Should I Store the Rest?
Once opened, simply tuck the back part of the label into the box to help keep it closed, and store your tea in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
During warmer summer months, you may choose to keep the tea in the fridge for extra freshness. Make sure it is sealed to protect the herbs from moisture and other food odours.
At Herb Spirit, we believe knowing every herb is the beginning of a more thoughtful relationship with nature. Whole, visible herbs, thoughtfully selected — from their origins to your cup.
Every sip is a taste of nature.
